The field studies for grades 3-8 last week were amazing! Our scholars were so well behaved and were able to experience hands-on learning outside of the classroom environment! This week, on Wednesday, December 14, Pre-K through 2nd grade will be going to the Crayola Experience in Plano.
Uniforms are required for scholars to wear on their trip.
All scholars in grades 3-8 have taken STAAR Interim exams and in grades 7-8 Arabic exams (make-ups will occur Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 12 & 13, for those scholars who were absent). Teachers are utilizing the data from these assessments to help guide their instruction for the next 6 week period. Families will soon be provided the data to review as well.
Paper is a program our district has purchased to help assist scholars in their academic progression within grades 4-8. Click on this link to learn more about Paper and how it can assist your scholar in their nightly homework. Scholars will be utilizing this daily within their classroom as well. Teachers and the adminstrator is also able to view the scholar/tutor interaction and dialogue so that we can support at school also. Please reach out to your scholar's teacher if you have any questions regarding Paper! All scholars in grades 4-8 should be using the Paper app on Clever at home with homework support.
This is a great app to use over break!
Snack Cart will not take place this Thursday, Dec 15. It will resume on Thursday, Jan 5.
