Good afternoon, STEM families!
I hope you have had the opportunity to read the letter sent via email from Ms. Sudan regarding the incident on campus during Friday's dismissal. If you have not read the letter from her, please take the time to do so today. If you did not receive it, please reach out to Ms. Smith so that we can make sure to have the correct email address in PowerSchool for you. I will be meeting with all scholars and staff tomorrow to go over the information sent out by Ms. Sudan and to reiterate the great job everyone did who was on campus that afternoon. We will have additional counseling supports on campus tomorrow for any scholar to talk to if needed as well.
It was great seeing a lot of you at the American Muslim Cultural Celebration in Arlington on Saturday! I was able to speak with a lot of community members and prospective new families. Open enrollment is still going on, so please invite anyone with scholars in grades Pre-K through 8th grade to enroll for next school year! Enjoy the beautiful weather! And remember, this week all scholars can dress out of uniform since we had 100% participation in our Intent to Return process.

Grades K–1: Holistically rated listening, speaking, reading, and writing assessments based on ongoing classroom observations and student interactions.
Grades 2–12: Online reading, listening, speaking and writing tests.
