Moodle Training for Instructors

Moodle training courses are available for NPC faculty. You can now enroll yourself in Moodle 101 and Moodle 201, two self-paced, non-credit online classes at any time.

Moodle 101 - Moodle Basics v. 3.9 (New)

Prerequisite: No

Description: The goal of this course is to provide instructors with an understanding of the Moodle Learning Management System's basic functionality. Upon successful completion, you will be able to start developing your own Moodle course sites and achieve "Moodle Minimum" for traditional face-to-face courses. You can think of this course as addressing those items you would need to know as a “course creator” in Moodle.

Moodle 201 - Advanced Usage of Moodle v. 3.9 (New)

Prerequisite: Moodle 101 or equivalency

Description: The goal of this course is to provide instructors with training in some more advanced areas of the Moodle Learning Management System. Upon successful completion, you will be able to incorporate multimedia and more robust learning activities into your course design. You will also further understand the process of actively managing your Moodle course(s), and what that entails on a daily basis. You can always refer back to a concept from Moodle 101 – Course Creation if you need a refresher on basic course functionality.
