Blackboard Ally is a tool that integrates into Moodle to make the course content more accessible for students. Below are a few of the major benefits of using Ally in the LMS for students and instructors:
Providing alternative file formats for students to download documents that were uploaded to the course in the Moodle LMS. The following file formats are available as alternative downloads: tagged PDF, HTML, ePub, electronic braille, and audio.
Instructors can quickly identify any accessibility issues with the course content using the accessibility scores and the feedback from Ally on strategies to improve the accessibility of the content.

Instructors and Students can visit the Blackboard Ally website at https://help.blackboard.com/Ally/Ally_for_LMS for up-to-date training material and other resources. Additional Ally Training at NPC will be schedule at NPC. You can view any upcoming training dates and times on the ITCS Department Training Calendar.

Ally Accessibility Report
The Accessibility Report provides an overall summary and rating of all your course content in Moodle. The Accessibility Report can be accessed by instructors from the left-side navigation bar in your course page in Moodle. Ally also allows Moodle administrators to run institutional reports to monitor institution-wide accessibility improvement over time.
