eResource Center for Learning Technologies

Welcome to the new eResource Center for Learning Technologies at Northland Pioneer College (NPC). The eResource Center is managed by the Instructional Technology & Curriculum Support Department at NPC in collaboration with the Office of Learning & Student Services, Instructional Council, Technology Advancement & Support, Division of Arts & Sciences, Division of Career & Technical Education, Library Services, and Office of Accessibility and Inclusion. The mission of the eResource Center is to address the theory and practice of effective distance pedagogy and instructional design/development by:

  1. Providing access to support documentation, instructional guides and materials for learning technologies

  2. Providing information about learning and training opportunities appropriate to faculty with a range of technology competencies through individual consultation, coaching, and workshops

  3. Providing advice on design, development, implementation and evaluation of distance and hybrid courses

  4. Providing information to ensure that technology-based learning environments and support systems maintain compliance with accessibility standards

  5. Keeping faculty informed of emerging technological and pedagogical trends
