Basic information about the page:
Introduction to Literature is one of the first courses offered by the Department of English Language and Literature at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University. Its purpose is to give you the basics of literary terminology so that you were able to talk about literature. The course also includes some practice in thinking about literature using the terminology. The course is designed to prepare you for all the other literary courses leading towards your state exams and, for some, writing your thesis on a literary topic.
Last, but not least, the aim of the course is to give you an opportunity to tackle new resources that are freely available to teachers and to create your own materials using reliable sources. This website will be your main source for the terminology that is going to be tested in the final quiz (see the syllabus). The idea is to create your own materials (something like our personal "WIKI") from which you can study easily.
To handle the materials here, as well as the course, please, follow the mood-link-a website and the regular emails you will be getting throughout the semester.
Thank you for your cooperation.
If you have troubles handling the website, please check the instructions in mood-link-a, or cooperate with your classmates. If these are not useful, contact the teacher. Thank you.
