As a Sales Associate, your responsibilities extend beyond basic checkout procedures. It is your job to make sure that the customer has a welcoming, positive shopping experience. Remember to greet customers as they walk in the door and interact with them, especially if the store is otherwise empty. If a customer has questions about products or stock, make an effort to double check even if you know that the item is currently out of stock. It is important to maximize sales especially when traffic is low.
During your shift, we expect you to:
Keep the store tidy (Keeping clothes well-folded and neatly stacked)
Make customers feel welcome and comfortable (Greet customers with a smile and verbal greeting)
Be an ambassador of The Harvard Shop! (The official store of Harvard)
