Welcome to Grand Valley's Winter 2025 Sustainability Showcase!
Welcome to Grand Valley's Winter 2025 Sustainability Showcase!
The Environmental and Sustainability Studies Program (ENS) is pleased to present a multitude of student projects, innovative designs, and sustainability assessments exploring a vast range of topics. Students develop a holistic, place-based understanding of environmental and sustainability challenges to generate solutions to real-world problems in areas such as food systems, energy and climate change, water resources, or culture and the built environment.
Student projects are organized by course. We invite you to check out our work and share helpful comments or suggestions. Feedback forms are found at the bottom of each project page.
While many students have completed virtual projects displayed here on this site, others will present at this Friday's in-person Sustainability Showcase Event on Allendale Campus. We will have oral presentations from ENS 401 (Environmental Problem Solving), video shorts from ENS242 (Climate Change in Popular Culture), and posters from ENS 201 (Intro to Environmental Studies), ENS 305 (Sustainability Assessment and Reporting), and ENS347 (Disasters and Social Inequality).
We hope you'll join us! Refreshments will be provided.
