Outdoor Education…Character development through the outdoors
The underlying principle of Outdoor Education at MAGS is…
"To give young people the opportunity to discover who they really are and what they are capable of in an environment that is free from the issues they may deal with in their daily lives.
Issues include: consumerism, drugs, alcohol, violence, obesity, etc…"
While our classroom location may change our school rules and expectations still apply.
Anything not appropriate for a classroom or school setting, is not appropriate on an Outdoor Education trip.
Please read carefully the following expectations regarding Outdoor Education Trips:
Borrowing school equipment and/or clothing
Please clean and return any borrowed items immediately following your trip.
If you are unable to return an item in the same condition as supplied you will need to replace the item.
If you cannot replace the item, you will be invoiced for a replacement.
