This page provides information on the services available to those who qualify as Medical Library-Specific Users among faculty, staff, and students affiliated with the Graduate School of Medicine and Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tokyo, the UTokyo Hospital, Health Service Center, and International Research Center for Neurointelligence (IRCN).

Who Qualifies as a "Medical Library-Specific User"
以下のご身分に当てはまる方は、「医学図書館独自利用者」として、医学図書館をお使いいただけます。
本学の他の図書館はお使いいただけません。
Individuals who fall into the following categories may use the Medical Library as "Medical Library-Specific Users."
Other libraries of the University of Tokyo are not available.
職員
病院診療医・臨床研修医（初期研修医）・専攻研修医（専攻医）のうち、附属病院以外の機関に出向中・研修中・研修を中断している方
招聘臨床指導医（臨床教授）、実地修練生、受託研修生、届出研究員（本学に他の在籍のない方）、派遣職員
学生
医学部短期研究研修生、特別研究学生（総長・部局長以外による受け入れの方）、留学生（総長・部局長以外による受け入れの方）、インターン生
受託実習生（外国医師を含む）、臨床修練外国医師（厚労省臨床修練生）、附属病院の研修・人材育成プログラム受講生
Staff members
Hospital physicians, clinical residents (first-stage residents), and senior residents (senior-stage residents) who are on secondment at or undergoing training at an institution other than The University of Tokyo Hospital, or have suspended their training
Invited clinical supervisors (clinical professors), clinical practicum trainees, commissioned trainees, registered researchers (those with no other affiliation at the University), dispatched staff members
Students
Students Short-term research trainees of the Faculty of Medicine, special research students (accepted by persons other than the President or a department head), international students (accepted by persons other than the President or a department head), interns Commissioned trainees (including foreign physicians), foreign physicians in clinical training (MHLW clinical trainees), participants in training and human resource development programs of The University of Tokyo Hospital

This section introduces the services, facilities, and registration procedures of the Medical Library available to Medical Library-Specific Users among faculty, staff, and students affiliated with the Graduate School of Medicine and Faculty of Medicine, The UTokyo Hospital, Health Service Center, and International Research Center for Neurointelligence (IRCN).

医学図書館独自利用者は、医学図書館のみの利用が可能です。
希望される場合は、図書館利用登録の申請が必要です。
医学図書館のウェブフォームから申請してください。
Medical Library-Specific Users may use the Medical Library only.
If you wish to use the library, you must submit an application for library use registration.
Please apply via the Medical Library's online application form.

Borrowing and Returning Materials from the Medical Library
医学図書館の図書・雑誌・AV資料を借りることができます。
医学図書館資料の貸出条件や冊数は、所属・利用者区分を問わず共通です。
You may borrow books, journals, and audiovisual materials from the Medical Library.
Borrowing conditions and the number of items allowed are the same regardless of affiliation or user category.

*Materials from libraries other than the Medical Library cannot be borrowed.
メールまたはウェブフォームからのご連絡で、医学図書館の資料の予約または貸出期間延長を申し込めます。
You may apply for a reservation or loan period renewal for Medical Library materials by contacting us via email or online form.

※MyOPACサービスにログインして予約・延長を申し込むことはできません（MyOPACサービスは、医学図書館以外の図書館からの取り寄せ等を含むため）。
※医学図書館以外の図書館の資料の予約はできません。
*Reservations and renewals cannot be requested by logging in to the MyOPAC service. (This is because the MyOPAC service includes functions such as requesting materials from libraries other than the Medical Library.)
*Reservations for materials from libraries other than the Medical Library are not available.

以下のすべての設備をご利用いただけます。一部、事前の予約が必要です。

平日開館日の17時15分から23時30分まで、医学図書館の一部のエリア・サービスを利用できます。
毎年度、登録のための手続きが必要です。
On weekdays when the library is open, certain areas and services of the Medical Library are available from 5:15 PM to 11:30 PM.
Registration procedures are required every academic year.

We have five booths equipped with sound‑absorbing panels and curtains.
They are intended for individual work.

※防音ではないため声は漏れますが、Zoom等を利用したオンライン授業やウェブ会議でも利用できます（声出し可としています）。
※状況によって「グループ学習室」をご案内できる場合があります。ご心配な場合は、カウンターにご相談ください。
*Please note that they are not fully soundproof, so some sound may leak. However, they can still be used for online classes or web meetings such as Zoom (speaking aloud is permitted).
*Depending on availability, you may be directed to the Group Study Room instead. If you have any concerns, please consult the library counter.

「医学図書館独自利用者」に該当する皆様は、学外ネットワークから電子リソース（電子ジャーナル・電子ブック・データベース）にアクセスすることはできません。
学外からのアクセスについては大変ご要望が多いところではありますが、出版社の利用規約に基づくものですので、何卒ご理解・ご了承ください。
Those who qualify as "Medical Library-Specific Users" may not access electronic resources (electronic journals, e-books, and databases) from off-campus networks.
We understand that off-campus access is in high demand; however, this restriction is based on publisher licensing terms, and we ask for your understanding.

東京大学では、電子ジャーナル等を学外から利用する際、EZproxyというサービスを経由します。
EZproxyでは、利用者の身分によるアクセス制限を設定することで、本学が契約している電子リソース（電子ジャーナル・電子ブック・データベース）の規定を守った利用を実現しています。
UTokyoアカウントがあればEZproxyにログインすることはできますが、ログインした先でのアクセス可否については、利用規約に基づき別途制御されている仕組みです。
サービス対象（東京大学の所属者）について、詳しくは、附属図書館の案内ページ【学外からデータベースや電子ジャーナル・電子ブックを使用する】をご覧ください。
At the University of Tokyo, access to electronic journals and other electronic resources from off campus is routed through a service called EZproxy.
EZproxy enforces access restrictions based on user status, ensuring that the University's contracted electronic resources (electronic journals, e-books, and databases) are used in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions.
While users with a UTokyo Account may log in to EZproxy, access to individual resources after login is separately controlled in accordance with the applicable terms of use.
