Returning Materials

東京大学の図書館・室の資料は、以下の方法で返すことができます。
なお、資料の種類や状態によっては、医学図書館の窓口に直接返却するようお願いすることもあります。
資料を借りた際に案内があった場合は、その指示に従ってください。

You can return the library materials of the University of Tokyo libraries in the following ways.
Depending on the type or condition of the item, we may ask you to return it directly to the Medical Library counter.
If you were instructed to return the item in that way when you borrowed it, please follow the directions.

医学図書館入口のブックポストに投函する
Put the items in the Medical Library Book Post

現在、２４時間ご利用いただけます。
The book post is available 24 hours a day.
図書館が開いている時間帯でも、ブックポストに返却できます。館内で返す必要はありません。
You can return the items to the book post even when the library is open. You do not need to come into the library just for returning.

医学図書館カウンターで返却する
Returning the items to the Medical Library counter

図書館が開いていて、すぐに返却処理をしたい場合には、カウンターまでお持ちください。（延滞している場合や、返却処理をしないと次の本が借りられない場合など）
Please bring the items to the counter if the library is open and you would like to have them returned immediately (e.g. when you have overdue items or when you cannot borrow the next item until they are returned)

学内の他の図書館・室で返却する
Returning the items to any other library in UTokyo

本郷キャンパス内を含め、学内のどの図書館、図書室でも返却できます。
You can return the items at any libraries in UTokyo, including those on the Hongo Campus.

医学図書館あてに郵送する（医学図書館資料のみ）
Send the items by mail to the Medical Library

返送料は、利用者の負担となります。
Shipping fees must be paid by the user.
事故や行き違いを防ぐため、下記の「郵送時に注意していただきたいこと」を守って梱包・送付してください。
To avoid accidents or loss, please pack and send the items in accordance with the instructions in “Cautions for mailing library materials.”

追跡可能な手段で送ってください。
Please send the items using a traceable delivery method.

レターパックプラス、ゆうパック、宅急便等
Letter Pack Plus, Yu-Pack, Ta-Q-Bin and so on.

送料、梱包料等はご負担ください（着払い不可）。
Please pay for the shipping, packing and other fees. Cash on delivery is not accepted.
破損や水濡れ等による汚損を防ぐため、必ずビニール袋等で包み、緩衝材で梱包してください。
To prevent damage or water exposure, be sure to wrap the items in a plastic bag and use cushioning materials for packing.
皆が気持ちよく資料を使い続けられるよう、取り扱いルールにご協力をお願いします。
Please help us by following these handling rules so that everyone can continue to use the materials comfortably.
