Government sponsored grants and loans for college are ONLY available for students who have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
Most colleges and universities require students to complete the FAFSA in order to be considered for any type of scholarships or financial.
If you've been putting it off, make a plan to get it completed and submitted BEFORE semester break. Make an appointment with Dr. D or Ms. Anderson. Don't wait . . . when the money runs out, it's gone!

Seniors who are interested in attending Wichita State University next year are invited to go with us on a campus visit on Monday 06 December.

Please note: be at school by 7:00 am on Monday 12/6; we won't return until 4:30 pm, so you need will need your own transportation home.

Bovard Scholars are high-achieving, resilient, and place a high value on education. They show leadership and are ready to take ownership of their academic path to success.
ELIGIBILITY:
Junior in high school (11th grader) at time of application
Currently hold a 4.0 weighted GPA or above
Enrolled in Algebra II, Trigonometry or above
Demonstrate financial need

High-achieving students of color from low-income backgrounds in 11th grade. Scholars participate in two free Summer Academy programs, receive 1-on-1 mentorship as they apply to college, academic and social-emotional support during their transition into their college experience, and career development programming to prepare them for taking their first steps towards meaningful careers.
