Go the Common App website
Set up an account (make sure you remember your username and password)
Use this guide to help you prepare your application
Fill out the application completely and accurately. If you have questions about any questions, be sure to ask for help
You will have to choose an essay prompt to complete. Make sure you upload your final, best version of the essay
Add your colleges to the my colleges page. This will help you keep track of deadlines and will allow you to submit your applications
You should be able to work on your application, save your work, and go back and finish later. It is always a good idea to let your application sit for 24 hours before making final submission
Most universities will require that you submit an application fee. Those fees usually range from $25-$75. Students who qualify for f/r lunch can get a fee waiver. Request your fee waiver through Common App and Dr. D will approve it
In order for the school to send your transcripts to Common App schools, students must link the two accounts.
Watch this video about matching your accounts and follow the directions. We cannot send your transcripts until your accounts are linked.
If you need a reminder about how to request a transcript through Naviance, watch this video .
