Fascinated by medical technology? Experience where engineering meets medicine at BOLT, Bioengineering Opportunities and Leadership Training, Camp. Gain a better understanding of what it means to be a bioengineer through hands-on activities with our faculty and students. June 10-13, 8am-4:30pm at the Anschutz Medical Campus. If you’re the first in your family to go to college and interested in business, this summit is for you! Whether you want to be a CEO, own a business or are still figuring out your path, this week long experience will help you learn about what business means, connect with the CSU community and make a few friends along the way. Stay overnight in a CSU residence hall on campus and eat in the dining centers as you learn the skills that will transform how business is done. Work alongside other first-generation students and College of Business faculty as you get valuable experience. July 22-27, 2024.

Generally, applicants selected have excelled in one or more areas of high school involvement and have potential or proven leadership experience. The Colorado Health Careers Collaborative was created to provide seamless pathways from school to employment for ages 16-24 in healthcare fields for Coloradans. It's free to eligible participants who are interested in healthcare and willing to work with a navigator from ACC or CCD. The curriculum will include post-secondary certification pathways, career navigation, and innovative virtual job shadow experiences & support talent pipelines to Colorado’s largest health systems. It will be focused around 6 of the fastest growing health occupations: Nursing (LPN/RN), Medical Assisting, Medical Lab Sciences (CNA/Phlebotomy), and Radiologic Technology. The Health Professions Exploration Program is a week-long program designed for incoming high school juniors and seniors who are interested in a career helping others through the health care industry. Participants will come to Meet, Explore and Experience a variety of health care professions and academic programs with a small cohort of like-minded high school students. The Carleton Liberal Arts Experience (CLAE) is a week-long summer program that explores African American history, identity, and contemporary culture through the framework of a liberal arts education. It’s designed for Black and African American students and those interested in African American studies. The free program provides exposure to highly rigorous, college-level coursework within the unique style of education found only at liberal arts colleges like Carleton. June 20 – June 27, 2024.

The Academy Introduction Mission (AIM) is a one-week summer program where you’ll immerse yourself in Academy life at the US Coast Guard Academy. Exclusively for students entering their senior year of high school, AIM is regarded as the most realistic of the service academy summer orientation programs. Various dates throughout the summer. The Pio Prep Leadership Institute brings together excelling students who identify as Black/African American and/or Latinx for three days and two nights of high quality workshops, leadership building activities, opportunities to better understand the college application process, exploration of personal identity, and engagement with DU administrators and current students. Cost is $65. July 15th - 17th .
The Office of Inclusive Services Summer Institute is a week long higher education preparatory experience for rising high school juniors, seniors, and young adults with intellectual disabilities up to age 25. June 3-7, 2024.
