The Advanced Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship Program (AMTAP) is a United States Department of Labor (USDOL) Registered Apprenticeship. The AMTAP program will teach you how to build space flight hardware by providing a phased approach to learning with both classroom and hands-on learning opportunities at our LM Space facility in Littleton, CO.
WSCC’s affiliated apprenticeship programs provide the opportunity to build an exceptional and fulfilling professional career in the construction industry. After graduating from one of the eight education centers, WSCC students will be able to continue their professional growth and development through educational programs offered by the Specialty Contractor Institute. The HealthONE Apprenticeship is a 5-6 year program after high school that allows you to work and earn a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing by working at one of our local hospitals! Apply and be selected by a participating hospital your junior year.
The Construction Industry Training Council (CITC) was created in 1988 to serve a critical need in the construction industry for skilled trades training and provides a single consistent open – shop training function for five different trade associations. It is a non-profit joint effort of 5 trade associations that's accredited through the Emily Griffith Technical College and the US Department of Labor Office of Apprenticeship. The organization takes great pride in their one to one individual guidance approach to students, and believes it's a workable alternative education to an expensive college debt that leads to a great career while providing the opportunity to earn while you learn.
The Denver JEATC has trained hundreds of Colorado workers to become licensed JW electricians since its creation. The JEATC works with highly successful contractors throughout the State of Colorado to provide on the job training as well as extensive classroom training. Apprentices will receive competitive wages as well as a great pension and medical plan.
These apprenticeship program sponsors provide on-the-job training and/or classroom work to prepare students for a wide range of occupations in various regulated professions. The CEF was founded in 1999 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to construction industry workforce development in Colorado. Funded by industry partners, government grants, private and public support, CEF creates workforce development opportunities through education, training programs, and scholarships. CEF’s efforts lead to sustainable pathways toward great careers in construction for both high school students and adults.
The CCA is a four-week training program offered in the evenings from 4-8pm and funded through a grant from the State of Colorado. Participating students will receive Construction Skills Training as well as a First Aid/CPR certification, an OSHA 10-hour card, CDOT flagger certification and NCCER’s construction site safety orientation. Students will be eligible to receive a $50 per week stipend (up to $200 total), and upon completion students will receive an additional voucher for $250 to purchase work boots. Starting in August 2023, students who enroll in one of the following training programs will have their tuition, fees, course materials, and other costs covered while funding is available: Construction, Education, Early Childhood Education, Firefighting, Forestry, Law Enforcement, Nursing.
