The year 7 science curriculum has two main foci.
Firstly, our aim is to promote an enthusiasm and passion for science. Students find our lessons to be inquisitive, engaging and challenging. We deliver a curriculum of Biology, Chemistry and Physics topics to encourage children to ask questions about the world around them.
Secondly, it is important that students learn and practice the rigorous skills of scientific investigation. Each topic provides opportunities for young people to use the scientific method and to extend their scientific understanding. This preparation at Key Stage 3 is integral to GCSE success.
