USE OF PARIS LIBRARY MEETING ROOMS

  • Meeting rooms are scheduled on a first come first serve basis.

  • Library programs and meeting have first priority.

  • The Paris Library/LDRL reserves the right to deny meeting room use to any group whose stated or avowed purpose(s) is not consistent with library goal or policies. Little Dixie Regional Libraries Board of Trustees will make final decisions concerning use of the meeting rooms.

  • No admission fees may be charged by user, unless approved in advance by the Little Dixie Regional Libraries.

  • No supplies or equipment will be stored on library premises for outside groups.

  • No smoking, tobacco chewing, use of alcoholic beverages or use of illegal substances is allowed.

  • No person shall Possess on the Library premises a firearm, knife, or any other weapon of any kind unless allowable by law.

  • Groups are responsible for damages to the facilities occurring during the meeting time scheduled.

  • Library will be notified of cancellation at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Meeting room capacity: Roegge Room -100, McKamey - Room-75

  • A refundable deposit will be required to rent meeting room.

  • $100 – Roegge Room, $50 McKamey Room

  • Deposit will be returned after room has been inspected by library staff

  • Person scheduling room is responsible for obtaining the key for room during regular library hours.

  • Person scheduling room is responsible for securing the library building at the close of the meeting.

  • Rummage sales will be permitted in the McKamey Room only. All rummage sale items must be removed or deposit will be forfeited.

  • All “Rules of Conduct for Library Users” must be followed.

  • Paris Library/LDRL is not responsible for damages to any equipment or personal items.

  • Paris Library/LDRL is not responsible for any injuries occurring on library premises.
