Connections contain credentials that allow access to databases and other external services. The Connections page lists all connections available. There are three types of connections: databases, Git, and credential vaults (HashiCorp or AWS).
The Liquibase.io Connections page lists all connections available to the project workflows. When you create a database connection, you can use the test connection button to ensure it is set up correctly. Liquibase.io and Liquibase Pro use the same functionality of the connect command to test the connection’s readiness by validating the entered credentials. You can also create connections that access private Git repositories and make Vault secrets available to other connections and workflow actions. To do so, use the Private Resources feature when configuring your environment.
Tip: All Projects require a Database and Git connection. If your company uses a Vault, then this is a necessary connection.
Users with the Administrator or Editor role can configure connections.
Liquibase.io supports the following connection types:
Database platform connections
Snowflake
Redshift
