User management is one of the primary responsibilities of the Administrator role. Administrators create user accounts for their teammates and assign them roles. These roles allow or deny access to the different components of Liquibase.io functionality.
In addition to user management, Administrators are often responsible for setting up Connections and Resources, which are essential to environment configuration. Connections contain credentials that allow Liquibase to connect to external services. A resource points to an object that includes the location of specific assets, such as a liquibase.properties file, checks settings configuration file, or changelog.
The first user account created for an organization in Liquibase.io will automatically be assigned the Administrator role. This user will have full access to the Liquibase.io instance and will be responsible for managing users and connections/resources.
During product provisioning, the first Adminstrator user account is created. Once set up, you will receive an email with the Liquibase.io URL, guiding you through setting up your password and logging in.
If you don’t see your email invitation, please email support@liquibase.com.
Follow the instructions in the guide below to create your password and log in to your account for the first time.
