What Skills Should You Have When You Leave a Geography Class at Drew?
Locational and Place Knowledge
To develop knowledge about the world, the United Kingdom and their locality. Pupils should understand basic subject-specific vocabulary relating to human and physical geography and begin to use geographical skills, including first-hand observation, to enhance their locational awareness.

Human and Physical Geography
Human and physical features are things that you can see all around you.
Physical features like seas, mountains and rivers are natural. They would be here even if there were no people around.
Human features like houses, roads and bridges are things that have been built by people.
We research about the climate, the people, the country, oceans….

Fieldwork is when you go outside the classroom and find things out for yourself.
