Federal State

A Federal State is a form of governement where the powers are splitted with a system of division that allows the member States to preserve a part of their autonomy.

Founded in 1776, has a republic typology of federation. It's composed of 50 States, a federal district and 16 territories.


Germany

Founded in 1949, has a republic typology of federation. It's composed of 16 Länder or Bundesländer.
