Types of Fundraisers

Fundraising is an unfortunate but necessary part of the band community. We are lucky to have a supportive Booster organization, but they are not able to fund the band alone. For this reason, annual fundraisers will be organized by the director. Fundraisers are not mandatory but highly encouraged for all students to participate as they are the band's main source of funding each year. As such each member benefits from the fundraising efforts in various ways.

The band hosts two different types of fundraisers throughout the year.

Student brochure fundraisers are items that are sold and delivered by the students and help to offset the cost of student trips.
Boosters fundraisers are run by the Band Boosters (with some help from students) to be used for instrument repair, replacement, uniforms, music, various trip cost, and any other general expenses of the band program.

Flower Power Online Only Fundraiser

The flower Power fundraiser runs online all year with exception of a couple months. Students or parents can share the link with family and friend's anywhere in the US and products are shipped directly to them. Students will recive credit for the sale as long as the purchaser places there name in the box at check out that asks who you are supporting.
