*** ORLANDO TRIP 1 MONTH MANDATORY MEETING OCTOBER 21st 7pm *** ALL DISNEY PAYMENTS GO THROUGH PREMIER TOURS AS OF 7/20/2025
Liberty Band Boosters are ALWAYS looking for volunteers. Here are some of the great committees you can serve on:
Chaperones: Group of adult supervisory personnel who accompany band members to selected functions.
Selection of chaperones for major trips begins with those who assist at band camp first, then those who chaperone games, band nights, or other events, and those who work the concession stand or other band booster fundraisers.
Parents interested in chaperoning any event should attend regular booster meetings to sign up and/or contact the boosters chaperone chair person. If you sign up to chaperone or work the concession stand and fail to show up you may not be asked to chaperone or work again. Larger trips will take the most experienced chaperones first, so volunteering to chaperone when your student is younger is very important.
Chairperson Responsibilities: Obtain and coordinate chaperones. Work with band directors in scheduling and coordinating chaperones for events. These events include home games, away games, band camp and band trips.
Uniforms: A uniform chairperson to obtain and supervise a committee for distribution and collection of uniforms and works with a student liaison on proper care and order and to maintain inventory. Uniform fittings are generally fitted during a scheduled time at Summer Band Practices. General information regarding uniforms is handed out to students during summer band practice in the Student Hand Booklet.
Band Night Performances: Held in late August and September. This is a program of area bands to perform their half-time show at various stadiums.
Chairperson Responsibilities: Will organize a group of chaperones scheduled in advance, to attend area band shows with our band members. Also to organize our Home Band Night by organizing programs, concession stands, admissions and advertisements.
Concessions / Spirit Shop: Sale of food and beverages used as a Booster fundraiser during football games. This also includes the spirit shop during the school day and the spirit table at football games.
Chairperson Responsibilities: Coordinate workers and assigned areas for games. Order and maintain inventory of supplies and secure receipts.
Band Concerts: Performance concerts held during Winter and Mid Spring time of the school year.
Chairperson Responsibilities: To coordinate committee members for responsibilities which may include, but not limited to, Booster Headquarters, decorations, exhibits, refreshments, novelties and clean up. Hold special meetings as needed.
Band Picnic: Held in May.
Chairperson Responsibilities: Forms a committee to reserve location and plan menu.
