RIGHTS RESPECTING SCHOOLS - UNICEF

We are very pleased to announce that Brookfield has achieved the Silver Award for Rights Respecting Schools. This has only been possible thanks to the contribution of all staff, pupils and their families, making our school a respectful place where children are aware of their rights as individuals as well as part of a community. Well done Brookfield!
Each week, a child in each class will be rewarded with a certificate for their efforts to contribute to one of the articles in our charter.

At Brookfield we are beginning our journey to achieve our Rights Respecting Schools Gold award and children will continue learning about the rights of the child.
These last two weeks we have been thinking of article 24:
Article 24 (Health and Health Services)
Every child has the right to the best health possible, safe water to drink, nutritious food, a clean and safe environment, and information to help you stay well.
