It's been another busy and exciting fortnight in Year 6! In English, we've been busy honing our narrative writing skills and are getting ready to pen our own thrilling stories next week, inspired by our captivating class novel, "Letters From The Lighthouse." Maths has seen us mastering the art of percentages and we're now delving into the world of ratios. Our budding scientists have embarked on a fascinating new topic – evolution and inheritance – while our historians have stepped back in time to explore the events of World War 2. In computing, we're getting creative with game design and learning how to bring our digital ideas to life. We're looking forward to sharing our finished stories and projects with you soon!
Over the next couple of weeks, we will be learning:
Maths - Algebra,
Writing - We will be starting our new text Letters From The Lighthouse and writing our narratives.
Reading - focusing on vocabulary and understanding of the text.
Science - We will be continuing our topic of evolution and inheritance.
