Year 4 has had an amazing couple of weeks filled with exciting learning experiences!
We were lucky enough to enjoy a captivating performance from our very own live orchestra, sparking a love for music in our young learners. During Maths Week London, the children honed their budgeting skills by planning pizza orders, combining delicious treats with valuable lessons.
In Design and Technology, they tapped into their creativity by designing and constructing biscuit packaging using nets. Our budding geographers explored the world through atlases, pinpointing rivers and understanding their importance.
We are incredibly proud of the talented Year 4 musicians who showcased their violin and cello skills at Fairfield Halls, delighting both parents and the community. To top it all off, they put on a special performance for their parents, leaving everyone filled with pride and joy.
Over the next couple of weeks, we will be learning:
Maths - Continuing revision and consolidating their understanding of topics covered this year
Writing - Writing a song as part of Arts Week
Geography - Describing how rivers are used.
Science - Classification and changing habitats
DT - Making biscuits!
