This past fortnight, Year 3 have been busy bees! In Maths, we've become perimeter pros, learning how to measure all the way around shapes to find the total distance. We've even been solving tricky word problems to put our skills to the test.
In English, we've had some fiery debates! We explored the story of Hogarth and the Iron Man, then wrote balanced arguments for or against Hogarth trapping him.
Finally, we've journeyed to New Dehli in Geography! Using Google Maps, we explored the amazing physical features like mountains and rivers, as well as the exciting human features like bustling markets and famous landmarks.
Over the next couple of weeks, we will be learning:
Maths - In Maths we will be doing our Summer term assessments next week and then we will be revising over all of the topics we have covered this year.
Writing - We are going to read further into the Iron Man and over the next two weeks we will be writing a persuasive letter.
Geography - We will be looking at comparing our local area to New Delhi looking at the physical and human features.
Science - We are revising over topics we have covered so far this year focusing on rocks.
