The Continuous Improvement Team was reorganized in September 2014 and consists of the school superintendent, principal and volunteer staff members from both the high school and elementary. The purpose of the team is to act as a steering committee to oversee the continuous improvement process of our school. We are guided by the Nebraska Frameworks handbook and the Continuous Improvement Process tool kit provided by the Nebraska Department of Education and have also attended the annual fall Continuous Improvement/Advanced Ed Workshops. The team meets 6-8 times per year to reflect on, discuss, plan and organize the information and processes that will be utilized by the entire staff to select, work on and achieve our continuous improvement goals. Over the past 5 years our team has also worked on the following projects: reviewed and revised the school mission and vision statements, reviewed and updated the curriculum using the concept of a "living" curriculum, reviewed student handbooks, explored and presented the idea of a PLC (Professional Learning Community) to our school board, and worked with the administration to recommend and plan teacher in-service events.
