In STEM English Language Arts we establish prior knowledge as well as research important topics that tie in with our Project Based Learning assignments. Through building background knowledge, my students are able to write effectively in all three writing genres: Informational, Argumentative, and Narrative. We also use varied reading strategies in order to comprehend complex texts.
