Complete #13-25 on last week's grammar sheet. If you worked ahead and completed the entire sheet, submit the answers for just these items again so that they are accurately recorded and graded.

Lesson Plans for week of April 13, 2020
For this week you will complete these two assignments. Failure to follow any of the directions will result in a grade of "unacceptable."
Complete # 1-12 on the new Mixed Grammar Review sheet. Record your answers on a separate Google Doc and submit. Remember analogies are relationships between two pairs of words. Figure out the relationship between the first pair and you can figure out how to complete the analogy.
Record your answers for the Figurative Language sheet using a Google Doc. This sheet uses song lyrics. In the first set of lyrics, identify the metaphor and explain. In the second set identify the simile and metaphors and explain. In the third set identify the hyperbole and explain. In the fourth set identify the metaphors and explain. See if you can also identify the alliteration. In the final set identify the allusion. If you do not recall what these literary terms mean, look them up on dictionary.com.
Follow the instructions and answer #1-10. You can answer them by creating a Google Doc and just typing the answer for each number. Obviously you cannot circle or underline, so just identify the parts of the sentence. Save your doc to your drive and upload it from there. Make sure you have a title on it.
Remember! The predicate is the action part of the sentence.
