AP World History
The AP exam is on May 21 at 1 pm. Check Google Classroom for updates!
Hey, everybody. First of all, make sure you check our Google Classroom for all of the updates I have received on the AP World History exam.
Second, due to some of the changes, we are already very close to wrapping up the content for the exam. It will wrap up with the conclusion of World War II. Therefore, we are practically already in review mode. I already have posted QUALITY review material on Google Classroom. In the mean time, we are going to get a good amount of DBQ practice, since this year's exam will officially only be ONE DBQ. Use the review material I posted in Google Classroom to help you, and also your textbook, if you feel so bold.
Note to next years students: No summer assignments!
Assignments for week of 5/18-5/22
Your exam is on Thursday! There will be no assignment to submit this week. Just make sure you are prepared for the exam! Get as much reviewing done on your online review as you can and be ready to destroy the DBQ!
Assignments for week of 5/11-5/15
Grade your DBQ
Grade the DBQ you wrote last week. The one over railroads.
Find the rubric for DBQ grading I posted on Google Classroom and watch this video for guidance. You will notice that this guy is going over the EXACT same DBQ you guys just wrote. Weird.
Don't stress over getting your grading perfect. This is more of an exercise for you to look back at your essay and see what you did well and what you didn't, so you know where to improve.
What I want you to submit is a document where:
1) You tell me what grade you gave your DBQ (On a scale of 0-10)
2) Tell me what you think you did well and what you think you could have done better.
That is the assignment for this week, BUT I also need you to check Google Classroom. I posted an update on some steps you guys need to take to prepare for the AP exam on May 21 (Next Thursday!) at 1 pm!

I would like this submitted near the end of the week so as you have more time to make progress before the submission. This is what we will be doing until exam time.
