During weekly PLC's, committee members share and discuss recent meeting minutes with team members (School Improvement, PBIS, Culture Club, etc.)
Communication from school to central office should run through an administrator.
For SPED communications, please work through the Assistant Principal. For all other Central Office communications, please route through the Principal.
All faculty and staff are expected to check and respond to email daily.
All classroom, resource, and Transition teachers will utilize Class Dojo for communication purposes with parents/guardians.
Office- "Good ___________. Sheffield Elementary. This is ____________. How can I help you?"
Classroom Phone- "Hello, this is __________________."
Respond to guests when they enter the office. "How can I help you?" or, if occupied "I'll be right with you."
Avoid talking about students or families in the office, office hallways, etc. Keep it positive and professional.
Monitor voice levels.
