M@W had the opportunity to visit the Kent Life Museum (postponed from the end of the summer term) and carry out a couple of activities including the Victorian shop and baking bread using a Victorian recipe. They were able to use pre-decimalisation coins and really get hands on with the kneading of the bread. 

They then had the opportunity to visit the playground, have a guided walk around the site and go on a bug hunt. It was really good seeing all of the students getting a lot from the experience.

It has been a busy start to the term, I am really pleased with how well all of the students have settled into Hever class & Wilmington. We have been busy with a range of learning activities including the initial preparation for our ASDAN business enterprise courses, an introduction to data handling and our social skills in the community session including shopping for the cafe, exploring shops and travel training. Due to a change in guidance from the Department for Education we are now blurring all faces on the website, I apologise for this action having to be taken but the alternative was for us not to be able to share pictures at all.
