We have had a fantastic week in Dover class, working on lots of different functional activities including:
Some students going on their first trip to Bore Place this year.
Working together to bake a cake and make drinks for an in-class tea party.
Learning about different places in the community and why we would go there.
Using symbols and phonics to make posters for our different Enterprise ventures.

We opened our cafe for the first time this year! We served food and made hot drinks for customers from the school.

We have been learning how to complete different tasks required to care for a home. Today we were practicing vacuuming.

We have started visiting Bore Place again for our work based learning. We have explored seasonal vegetables and dried out pumpkin seeds.

In our enterprise sessions we have been practicing our sewing skills so that we can expand our repair cafe skills.

In PSPD we have been learning about following rules and being kind. We have put this into practice by working as a team to make collages of different methods of communication.
Living skills
Living skills
We have been tending to our cafe garden which became very overgrown over the summer! We have learnt how to work safely with these tools and will prepare our garden to prevent weeds from growing back so we can make it nice in the summer.
