Central Idea:
Communication connects thoughts and choices.
Lines of Inquiry:
An inquiry in how we use different types of communication to express ourselves, share big ideas, and change how others think.
An inquiry in how we can confidently stand up for our own needs and choices while respecting the rights of the people around us.
An inquiry in how understanding different perspectives helps us care for others and build a fair, inclusive community.
A great start to the year, the students have enjoyed getting back into school routines and have enjoyed learning.
I undertand how muscles and skeletons are connected by joints.
I can pass with accuracy, was the learning objective, but with the last few moments of the lesson they have the chance to choose which equipment they would like to use.
I can investigate making 2d shapes.
I can name the shapes I make, I can identify sides and vertices.
I can name the parts of an eye. I know what each part does.
Careers: We can work together to prepare for the tuck shop.
I can use water colours to add depth to drawings.
Autumn leaves theme.
Careers: We are working together to make up the sweet bags for Milestone Bites.
It has been a really busy module, lots of fun and learning has taken place.
Yesterday we made the scones for our inquiry day. A lot of fun was had and flour spread.
We were able to enjoy diffrent activities, biscuit decorating and painting the new class sign. The parents and adults that attended all joined in.
It was really lovely to share our classroom with the parents and adults who came along. They all enjoyed a scone, which made the students very happy.
