Wellbeing continues to be a central focus here at LAD, and we're excited to share some of the initiatives we've been working on to support our students!
We have been actively focusing on promoting the Five Ways to Wellbeing across the school, helping our students integrate simple, effective practices into their daily lives.
In parallel, we are continuing to develop our students' identity and resilience through our dedicated program, 'Build Your Profile'. This initiative is key to personal development, as it concentrates on all aspects of the Learner Profiles. By exploring these profiles, students are encouraged to understand their strengths, challenge areas, and unique personalities, ultimately helping them to create a stronger sense of self and robust personal development skills.
To further support our students' emotional health, we are thrilled to announce the introduction of our new Wellbeing Room.
This space has been thoughtfully designed to act as a supportive environment where children can go when they are struggling emotionally. The room provides a quiet, calming area where students can focus on self-regulation techniques, helping them process their feelings and return to their learning feeling more centered and stable.
Supporting the holistic growth of every student is our priority at LAD, and we are dedicated to making important developments in this area. We are also actively working to regain our prestigious National Wellbeing Award. Your participation is key to this success. Keep a look out for a survey that will be sent in January, so we can gather your invaluable insights!
