This term, the Little Birds have been exploring the theme of celebrations from around the world. Through hands-on activities, storytelling, music, and creative play, they have begun to develop an understanding of how different people and communities celebrate special moments.

As part of this learning, the children visited the local Buddhist Temple, where they explored the environment and observed a range of artefacts. This valuable experience supported their understanding of the many ways people celebrate special occasions, including birthdays, religious festivals, and family gatherings.

The nursery playground has been transformed with the addition of a new climbing frame, and the Little Birds’ confidence has grown significantly. They are enjoying playing together as they climb, challenge themselves, and make the most of every moment outdoors.
