What an incredible term of celebration it has been! We’ve had the wonders of words on World Book Day; creative and crazy hair creations on Red Nose Day; and incredible amounts of sponsorship money raised for our school through ‘Sports for Champions UK.’ Thank you for all your support in each of these events.
Our ‘Build Your Profile’ provision at lunchtimes continues to grow and develop with your very generous donations of lego, puzzles, colouring books and board games. Children are challenged to try something new each lunchtime from the range of activities and be ‘risk takers’ as they’re doing so. Just like our Dojo reward system, this is all linked to our IB Learner Profile which focuses on the personal attributes we believe our children need to have regardless of their future careers.
Finally, we say goodbye to the sensational Mr Mitchell this term as he ventures on to Hartley Primary Academy as their Principal. It has been incredible to work with him on his ‘relentless routines’ at Dartford Primary Academy and we will forever remember his ‘Legendary Lines.’ We wish him the greatest success in his new role and he will be greatly missed.
Have a safe and restful Easter break.
Kind regards,
Mrs Haywood
