COLLEGE REPS, MILITARY RECRUITERS, AND OTHER ESSENTIAL VISITORS

We love it when college representatives, recruiters, and community partners visit our students.  We want to make our students aware of as many opportunities as possible.  

FAFSA KICKOFF DAY  (Please contact Lori Davis)  This event will take place on January 10, 2024. 

The FAFSA Day will take place at the LaRue County Public Library (located across from Hodgenville Elementary School).  Parents and students are welcome to attend from 1:30 PM to 6:30 PM.  Thank you so much for helping our students!!!  :)

Awards Night

The LCHS Senior Awards Night is the second Wednesday in May each year.  If one of our students has earned a scholarship or is planning to enroll/enlist in your university or branch, then we would like to recognize that student.  Please e-mail a list of recipients and a copy of the certificates to susan.underwood@larue.kyschools.us and clarissa.thomas@larue.kyschools.us on/before April 22, 2024.  If you cannot attend to present the award, then please drop off or mail the hard copies as well.  Thanks for everything you do to help our students make it to the next level.  If for some reason we cannot present the awards in person, then any swag, certificates, and/or video congratulations would be appreciated.  

Presentation

College representatives may use the presentation link on the right to schedule an appointment to speak to our students.  If something comes up and you can't attend, then please use the link to reschedule.  If it is a last minute cancellation, please give us a call at 270-358-2210.

College & Career Fairs

Wednesday, September 13 from 9:00-11:00 at LaRue County High School

We are going to host our own college and career fair during the school day.  

On September 13, we are going to host our own college and career fair during the school day.  All grades are invited to attend.  

The gym is actually attached to the middle school.

College Application Day

College Application Day is on September 14, 2024 from 8:00-3:10.  There will be a break from 11:05-11:45.  We would love to have your help even if you can’t stay the entire time.  Please use the link to the right (at the bottom if you are on a phone) to sign up.
