LCHS COLLEGE APPLICATION DAY

September 13, 2022 is LCHS College Application Day. Representatives will be here to answer questions.

Senior Checklist

  1. Complete a college application. You can apply anywhere. Berea, ECTC, Campbellsville, Lindsey Wilson, UPike, and Kentucky Christian University do not charge an application fee. Snip or take a picture of your ECTC student ID.

  2. Send your transcript via Parchment. If you already have an account, DO NOT create a new one. You will need to send a transcript via Parchment when you apply to college. You can also use Parchment to request fee waivers if you qualify.

  3. ACT scores must be sent directly from ACT to your college. ECTC, Campbellsville, and Midway will take unofficial scores from Parchment.

  4. Make a personal e-mail the primary e-mail for your Parchment account. You may need to use Parchment years after you graduate.

  5. Check your KEES Money. https://www.kheaa.com/ Let Mrs. Thomas know if it is wrong.

  6. Have an advisor sign your sheet.

  7. Once your advisor has signed your paper, you may get a sticker.

  8. If you typed in your counselor's e-mail, then you will need to complete a letter of recommendation form. Colleges will send your counselor rating scales and questionnaires to complete about you. If your counselor doesn't know the answer, then it really hurts your application.

  9. To start applying for scholarships, look on college websites and the LCHS counseling office scholarship page.

  10. If you plan to play sports, you must register.
