Physical Education

PE

The Physical Education curriculum at Landmark aims to develop awareness of the importance of health and exercise, whilst teaching important motor skills. Students will develop coordination and stamina, learn rules for a range of team games, and improve their physical fitness and mental wellbeing. Through active participation, they will explore concepts such as fairness, conflict resolution and inclusion.

Kung Fu

In addition, students also have the opportunity to develop martial arts and mindful movement practice, through Kung Fu weekly sessions led by Cambridge Kung Fu.  For more information, see their website.

Swimming

From Toucan, students will begin their swimming instruction for half a year. They will be taught basic swimming strokes and essential water safety in and around the pool. Students must bring with them a towel, swimming cap and swim suit in a separate bag on swimming days. Goggles are optional if your child wishes to bring them. On weeks where they are not swimming, they will have a regular PE lesson.
