What students said after the scholarship?

Although I have to resubmit my last project, I am very grateful for this journey, I really want to thank Udacity and Google for giving me this opportunity that added a lot to my knowledge and changed my life, 9 months ago I was always curious to know how apps work, and now just seeing a layout of an app I have an idea how it was designed šŸ˜Ž, and soon you will be seeing my own app in the store, I want to thanks everyone who was a help for the other students in this journey, and I wanna congratulate everyone who did graduate šŸŽ‰, and I know that someday soon my name will be also on one of these certificates šŸ˜Š

Now it is official: I AM A FRONT END WEB DEVELOPER! And some more great news:

First day with my #udacity Nanodegree is also the day of me having my first freelance job! Building a website for a law firm in Moscow! How exciting! And how happy I am! Thanks to #google and Udacity and people who supported me alone this amazing and challenging journey!

Finally the moment came when I got graduated by Udacity. Even yesterday I was so much frustrated that I could not make solution to the problem which I have been facing. At a time, I thought I cannot do it. I could not make any sense to the problem I was facing on my project. I was so much tired due to lack of sleep for the project as I work full time and study. Once I thought should I quit? But with the help of community on slack I continued finding solution and I made it. The lesson I learnt yesterday, never stop trying, you never know what comes next. And finally, want to thank all my colleague in this program who came forward to help me, my mentor on Udacity and of course Udacity for this amazing journey. I learnt a lot and discovered a new me.

Iā€™ve seen a lot of people who are (deservedly) very proud of completing their course. Iā€™d like to give a shout out to anyone who hasnā€™t. I am currently on the second to last project, so will have to extend the course in order to finish. If you are in a similar position - DONā€™T WORRY!! I worked really hard for a solid 6 months whilst I was unemployed, and Iā€™ve still not finished it. This doesnā€™t mean anything bad! Despite this, I am now working for a prestigious private school as their web designer, and have had interviews with major companies for junior roles. Be proud of what you HAVE learned - utilise everything you have learned. And most of all be confident in the skills you have gained. If you can do that, youā€™ll do just fine.

Anyone who stops learning is old. Finally after 9-month incredible journey of intense learning , I did it. I have expanded my skillset & open up a new path. I was so honoured to get selected among 10,000 to a 3-month challenge offered by #Udacity and #Google and then become one of the 10% awarded a full scholarship for Frontend Google Developer Nanodegree.

It was so tough having a full time job and completing such a demanding course with all the obligatory projects. But nothing is impossible if you really believe in yourself. Many Thanks to #Udacity and #Google, Many thanks to every one who helped me in this journey :)
