In addition to the company-provided disability and life insurance benefits you automatically have at no cost to you, all employees are eligible to enroll in additional voluntary benefits (at an additional cost to you) through UNUM.
Annual voluntary open enrollment is your only time to enroll for the year if you are interested, so review the information carefully to decide if you want to make any elections. Benefits elected are for the year and cannot be increased mid-year. These voluntary plans are paid for by paycheck deductions. Contact a Unum representative to review your benefit options, enroll in voluntary benefits, or make changes to existing coverage.
Some voluntary plans may be able to be reduced or canceled at any time throughout the year. Please contact UNUM to inquire about options. For toll-free assistance outside annual enrollment, call 800-635-5597.
Available voluntary benefits include:
Life Insurance
Short Term Disability Coverage
Long Term Disability Coverage
Accident Insurance
