My Training and Development
Mandatory Training
As an organisation, we must ensure that all our colleagues have completed training that supports our statutory (legal) responsibilities to keep everyone safe from harm, equipping you with the required knowledge to do your job safely. We have recently moved to Safesmart to provide this training - please note that the Educare system is being phased out by the end of 2025 so you should complete any due training on Safesmart. You can download your current Educare certificate and store them on Safesmart.
The Mandatory Training list is for all colleagues, forming part of your induction/probation process and then needs to be reviewed annually as part of your appraisal. There is a requirement to undertake refreshers too which you can see on the list.
Support Role Appraisals
All our people deserve quality time with their manager to review their progress and get help with challenges they might be experiencing. Part of your appraisal is to review your training and development needs and to ensure that you have completed the required essential training.
We are offering training for line managers on how to conduct good appraisals.
