What to expect from the Colleague Survey in September
Before the summer break, the Head Teacher Board discussed the Colleague Survey findings and agreed that each academy will
Share academy specific findings - so you can expect your leadership team to be explaining the key findings from your academy with you at the start of term (if they haven't already!), this will include celebrating what is going well and highlighting areas that your feedback suggests need improvement
Discuss next steps with colleagues - your ongoing input is essential to ensure that plans are formed to share good practice and take steps to make improvements, we suggest that each academy establishes a reference group made up of representatives from all different job types in your academy to talk about what actions will have a positive impact
Include actions in your academy improvement plan - by integrated agreed actions into your academy improvement plan, they are clear to everyone and you can hold each other to account for implementing them
Check progress - your leadership teams should check with you regularly to see if progress is being made on the improvements you agreed, this can be done by running 'pulse surveys' asking just a few targeted questions about the key actions you have agreed.
Keep talking - the number one tool in improving your workplace experience is for colleagues to keep talking to leadership teams, so we suggest regular catch ups with the reference group.
