We have  been learning to name and recognise 3D shapes. We have made them with playdough, investigated their properties and sorted them. 

We made 2D shapes in the playground. We made circles, squares, rectangles and triangles.

Today we explored 2D shapes to see how we could make pictures. We drew around them and added extra details. Some of us labelled them.

We completed patterns and made our own using 2D shapes and colours. 

We made Christmas cards using 2D shapes for the shape of a Christmas tree.
