In this competition, you will have the opportunity to create and produce your very own science podcast episode. Choose any topic that fascinates you - from space exploration to environmental science, from the human body to the latest breakthroughs in technology. Then, research, write, and record your episode to showcase your skills.
Not only will you get the chance to demonstrate your scientific understanding, but you'll also learn valuable skills in podcast production and communication. You'll have the chance to connect with other science-minded students and be part of a thriving community of science enthusiasts.
Judging criteria:
Accuracy and depth of scientific understanding (20 marks)
Clarity of explanations (15 marks)
Creativity and originality (15 marks)
Podcast Production (30 marks)
Communication Skills (20 marks)
Overall, the judges will be looking for a well-researched, engaging and well-produced podcast with a clear scientific focus. The podcast should showcase your scientific understanding, be engaging and generate an interest in what you are presenting.
