Wellbeing Dogs

In term 3 we like to arrange visits from our Wellbeing Dogs. We have had wellbeing visits from dogs since May 2018. The dogs are based in our Wellbeing Centre and provide one to one support, group work for emotional needs and for a non-judgemental listener for improving reading. aloud. This are scheduled with students in advance. but the dogs also do some group visits, such as to the senior common room, or classroom visits, and you may see them around the school site during the day while they get some gentle exercise .
