LGBTQ+

The Gay Straight Alliance

The GSA was founded by KGV students. We're a team of students dedicated to LGBTQ rights. We started this club with the hopes that we could make KGV a more inclusive, LGBT friendly environment; this was a little idea we had months ago that was finally kickstarted by 2017 graduate Bonnie Qu. She was brave enough to come out to the school during the senior's leaving assembly. That kind of courage is hard to come by, and we thought maybe now was the time to act on it. All three of us are fiercely for LGBT rights, and we hope to change the few remaining homophobic sentiments at the school.
