SF Employee Assistance Programmes
Open Door - 12 sessions
A counselling service to assist staff members with personal, professional and/or wellbeing issues that might affect their success.
All enquiries and sessions are strictly confidential. Staff members do not need to go through an internal approval system. Counsellors will discuss privacy and confidentiality when counselling begins
All ESF and ESL full-time staff members who are entitled to ESF medical benefits (i.e anyone with a BUPA / CIGNA card) may receive up to twelve free counselling sessions (50 minutes each).
As of September 1st 2020, staff will have access to Open Door on a rolling twelve months’ basis from when they start their first session. This means that should your first session with St. John's be in November, you could use up to 12 free sessions through October of the next year.
If additional sessions are required, staff members may continue on a self-pay scheme at a discounted rate
The discounted rate will be extended to family members and other ESF & ESL staff members who are not entitled to ESF medical benefits

Four Dimensions - COGNA
Alternatively counselling is availbable through our Healthcare provider, Cigna, via the Four Dimensions programme.
All ESF/ESL members are entitled to EAP service and there is no need to register.
Employees can call the Four Dimensions Hotline 2721 3939 to make appointments or for general enquiries.
The service is free of charge
Employees may attend up to five sessions per year, depending on the advice from Four Dimensions counsellors.
